After over 40 years, we think it’s about time we refreshed our visual identity and we would like to ask for help from our artist and designer members.

We are looking for a logo which symbolises what we are and what we do – encapsulating the range of art forms we promote, so no theatre masks or paintbrushes please!

The New Logo

The logo will need to be flexible enough to work well on a business card or large pull-up display panel and on our publications, notably our quarterly arts diary.  Our website is being given a complete overhaul on which the new logo will take centre stage, so please don’t use our existing website for any aesthetic or design reference points. We are looking for both a logo design and suggested typeface for the wording Brighton & Hove Arts Council.

Your Presentation

In your presentation please show three ways of using the new logo:

On its own

For members to add it to their publications and websites with the caption  A Member of Brighton & Hove Arts Council

With our strapline Developing the local arts community plus Registered Charity No. 270293
